The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Chamber held its second meeting of the 31st term this morning, chaired by Nabeel Kanoo, as part of efforts to strengthen institutional operations, enhance performance and decision-making, and further advance the Chamber’s role in serving the private sector.
The Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo, received the Ambassador of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Jaime Ricardo D. Gallaga, to discuss enhancing economic and trade relations and expanding partnerships between the two countries’ business communities.
The Bahrain Chamber honored Ruqayya Khalaf from the Sectoral Committees Department on her selection as an outstanding employee, in recognition of her notable efforts and active role in developing the working mechanisms of the sectoral committees, as well as enhancing coordination and overall performance. This step reflects the Chamber’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and advancing national talent.
Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro visited the Bahrain Chamber, where he met with Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo, and members of the 31st Board of Directors. The meeting focused on strengthening coordination and partnership between the Ministry and the Chamber in support of the private sector and Bahrain’s economic development.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, with its strategic location and advanced investment environment, has become a key gateway for trade and investment flows to and from regional markets. He noted that the dynamism of the private sector and the integration of its role with the public sector have contributed to strengthening the resilience of the national economy and its ability to absorb external shocks amid current regional and international developments.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo, received Chairman of the Bohra Society in Bahrain, Huthaifa Noormani, accompanied by several members of the Society. The meeting was attended by the Chamber’s First Vice Chairman, Yousif Salahuddin, the Second Vice Chairman, Nawaf Al Zayani, as well as several Board members. The meeting came as part of the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to strengthen engagement with the various components of the business community and to explore avenues for supporting and advancing commercial activities.
