The meeting also addressed the importance of developing Manama Souq as one of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s prominent commercial and historical landmarks and explored ways to enhance its facilities and services and strengthen its commercial and tourism appeal. The participants emphasized the importance of leveraging the Souq’s historical and heritage value to reinforce its position as an economic and tourism destination that reflects Bahrain’s rich heritage and longstanding commercial history, while attracting more visitors and shoppers.
Kanoo affirmed the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s commitment to continuing coordination and engagement with Manama Souq traders and following up on various initiatives that support the commercial sector and SMEs, contributing to strengthening the Souq’s position and its vital role in the national economy.
