The Bahrain Chamber officially launched its "Tojjar Talk"initiative with its inaugural session dedicated to the tourism sector, held in the presence of Minister of Tourism H.E. Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi, and Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo. The session brought together business leaders, investors, and representatives from the tourism industry to discuss the sector's current landscape, development priorities, and opportunities to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo, affirmed that Manama Souq represents one of the most prominent economic, commercial, and heritage landmarks in Bahrain. He emphasized that preserving its status and enhancing its economic and tourism role are top priorities for the Chamber.
The Bahrain Chamber, through its SME Support Department, has launched "Tojjar Talk", a dedicated communication and feedback platform designed to provide business owners with a unified channel to submit opinions, feedback, suggestions, and inquiries, while enabling them to track the progress of their requests through to completion. The initiative aims to strengthen direct engagement with Chamber members, enhance responsiveness to their needs, and support the continued development of Bahrain's business environment.
A landmark move to update the classification framework for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) has been welcomed by the Bahrain Chamber, which stated the upgrade will significantly broaden national support for the vital sector.
Board Member of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Khalid Ali Yousif Engineer, affirmed that small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are among the key drivers of Bahrain’s economy due to their vital role in supporting growth, stimulating commercial activity, fostering innovation, and creating business opportunities.
The Bahrain Chamber, represented by its Chairman and Board Members, expressed its pride in the firm national approach led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This was reflected through the signing of the “Pledge of Solidarity and Support” at the Chamber’s headquarters.
