The Bahrain Chamber is set to kick off the third edition of its Annual Committees Conference on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel under the theme "Towards an Enabling Economic Infrastructure." The conference will bring together top economists, private sector leaders, specialized experts, academics, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders interested in economic affairs.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Sameer Nass, welcomed the visit of the Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain, hailing the strength of ties between the two countries. During the meeting, discussions focused on the remarkable growth of trade relations between Bahrain and Japan, with the trade volume reaching an impressive $820 million in 2023.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Sameer Nass greeted the Undersecretary for Port and Maritime Affairs, Bader Hood Al Mahmood for a meeting on Wednesday 7th, February 2024 at Bahrain Chamber Headquarters in the presence of Bahrain Chamber’s Board Member, Basim AlSaie and Head of the Transportation and Logistics committee, Jassim Al-Moussawi.
Bahrain Chamber’s Executive Bureau member Basim Alsaie, emphasized the importance of the outstanding economic relation between Bahrain and Brazil, evident in the vigorous trade between both friendly countries, which reached $1.5 billion in 2023. This came he received on Wednesday7th February 2024 the Ambassador of Brazil to Bahrain Adriano Silva Pucci, who was accompanied by a Brazilian business delegation spearheaded by the Chief of International Office of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce Rafael Solimeo, in the presence of Bahrain Chamber’s Board member Yousuf Salahuddin and Chief Executive Officer Atef Al Khaja.
As part of the official visit to Hungary presided over by Foreign Affairs Minister, Abdullatif Al Zayani, Bahrain Chamber’s delegation headed by the Chamber’s Vice - Chairman, Khalid Najibi participated on Tuesday 30th, January 2024 in the 2nd Hungarian – Bahraini Joint Economic Commission, which discussed joint business prospects and ways to streamline trade to meet the economic aspirations of both friendly countries.
With the purpose of advancing bilateral business relations between Bahrain and Hungary and expanding the horizon for trade and investment, the Bahrain Chamber in cooperation with the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized a joint Virtual Business Forum on Monday, 29th, January, 2024.
