Speaking on behalf of the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Sameer Nass, during the second day of the 51st Arab Labor Conference, Kanoo referred to the outcomes of the Bahrain Summit at the 33rd Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States. The summit underscored the importance of joint Arab action to safeguard security and stability across the region, and to deepen cooperation and integration across all sectors. In line with this vision, the Bahrain Chamber remains steadfast in its commitment to strengthening ties among Arab private sectors and fostering robust economic partnerships across the Arab region. He stressed that collaboration between the public and private sectors is a cornerstone for overcoming regional economic challenges and achieving long-term, sustainable growth.
He also extended heartfelt congratulations to the Arab Labor Organization on its 60th anniversary, lauding its outstanding achievements in promoting social justice, sustainable development, and balanced labor relations through inclusive social dialogue among governments, employers, and workers. He noted that convening the conference amid today’s complex global challenges presents a vital opportunity to enhance coordination across the Arab region and unify efforts to address pressing economic issues. He stressed the importance of prioritizing policies that stimulate sustainable development and create decent employment opportunities.
