Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sameer Nass, affirmed Bahrain's keenness to enhance cooperation and partnership with Canada in various vital sectors, praising the bilateral relations between Bahrain and Canada. This came as he received at his office on Sunday 14th July 2024 the Chairman of the Canada-Arab Business Council, Dr Mohamad Sawwaf.
Second Vice-Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Mohamed AlKooheji, highlighted the growing Bahrain-Japan relations at the Fifth Japan-Arab Economic Forum in Tokyo. He noted Japan's significant role as Bahrain's eighth largest import partner, with bilateral trade reaching $820 million in 2023, marking a 23% increase.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Sameer Nass, highlighted the importance of strengthening relations with the ASEAN Bahrain Council to benefit the private sector and national economy, especially for Bahraini companies operating in Southeast Asia.
Bahrain Chamber’s Commercial Market Committee, in collaboration with Export Bahrain, recently hosted a workshop titled “Even if you do not Export, Export Bahrain can help you increase your sales through export” at the chamber’s headquarters with the aim of raising awareness of export Bahrain services.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Sameer Nass emphasized that the strong strategic partnership between Bahrain and the EU is founded on deep and ongoing bilateral cooperation at all levels. He highlighted the importance of continuing joint efforts to enhance relations to meet the aspirations and benefits of both sides. This came during his meeting with Dr. Thomas Juergensen, Minister Counsellor and Head of the Trade & Economic Affairs Section at the EU Delegation in Riyadh.
Chairman of the Bahrain chamber, Sameer Nass emphasized the deep-rooted historic relations and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States, noting the importance ongoing cooperation to strengthen and develop these ties to meet the aspirations of both countries. This came during his participation in U.S.-GCC 5th Trade and Investment Dialogue, held by the American Chamber of Commerce as part of his official visit to the United States of America.
