The Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo, received the Ambassador of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Jaime Ricardo D. Gallaga, to discuss enhancing economic and trade relations and expanding partnerships between the two countries’ business communities.
The Bahrain Chamber honored Ruqayya Khalaf from the Sectoral Committees Department on her selection as an outstanding employee, in recognition of her notable efforts and active role in developing the working mechanisms of the sectoral committees, as well as enhancing coordination and overall performance. This step reflects the Chamber’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and advancing national talent.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo, received Chairman of the Bohra Society in Bahrain, Huthaifa Noormani, accompanied by several members of the Society. The meeting was attended by the Chamber’s First Vice Chairman, Yousif Salahuddin, the Second Vice Chairman, Nawaf Al Zayani, as well as several Board members. The meeting came as part of the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to strengthen engagement with the various components of the business community and to explore avenues for supporting and advancing commercial activities.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo, received members of the Chamber’s 31st Election Committee on April 8, 2026, at the Chamber’s headquarters, in appreciation of their efforts and in support of strengthening institutional cooperation.
The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Chamber has approved the appointment of first reserve member, Mr. Shaker Alhelli, to its 31st Board following the vacancy left by Mr. Mohammed AlKooheji, who resigned for personal reasons. The appointment is in line with Article (27) of the Chamber’s Law, which stipulates that the candidate who secured the highest number of votes among non-elected candidates in the most recent elections shall fill any vacant seat and complete the remaining term.
The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Chamber held its inaugural session for the 31st term, during which members endorsed Nabeel Khalid Kanoo as Chairman. This reflects their confidence in his leadership vision and ability to guide the Chamber in line with the aspirations of the private sector.
