The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Chamber held its fifth meeting of the 31st term, chaired by Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo. During the meeting, the Board completed discussions on the final stage of restructuring the sectoral committees for the current term and reviewed the names of candidates for the chairmanship and membership of the committees, in preparation for completing the approval procedures and commencing their work.
The Bahrain Chamber, in cooperation with the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute, has launched an awareness program “Protect Your Business” aimed at enhancing legal awareness among traders, business owners, and entrepreneurs, and equipping them with a clear understanding of their legal rights and obligations to help protect their businesses and support their sustainability.
As part of their joint efforts to advance digital transformation and enhance services for the business sector, the Bahrain Chamber, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, has launched a national campaign to update members’ information. The initiative aims to establish an accurate and comprehensive database, improve digital services and communication, and support decision-making based on reliable data.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo, affirmed that the Silver Jubilee of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) marks 25 years of institutional efforts that have strengthened Bahraini women’s contribution to national development and reinforced their presence in the labour market, private sector, entrepreneurship and leadership positions.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo, affirmed that Muharraq Souq is one of Bahrain’s most prominent historic and commercial markets, reflecting a rich economic heritage closely tied to Muharraq’s history and its longstanding role in trade. He stressed the importance of preserving the souq’s identity, developing its commercial and tourism activity, and supporting the businesses and SMEs operating there.
Bahrain Chamber has concluded the fifth edition of the “Experience It” program, organized in partnership with Nasser Scientific and Technical Centre and Youth City, with the participation of 60 students. The program aims to prepare Bahraini youth for the labour market by providing them with practical experience, exposure to workplace environments, and opportunities to develop their skills and shape their future career aspirations.
