Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Khalid Kanoo, affirmed that hosting the Bahrain Grand Prix Formula 1 Gulf Air in Malaysia marks a significant milestone in strengthening the Kingdom of Bahrain’s presence on the global motorsport map. It also reflects the established position Bahrain has built in Formula 1 since hosting the first Grand Prix in the Middle East in 2004.
As part of ongoing cooperation between the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and the Bahrain Chamber, a joint meeting was held to review the latest regulatory developments concerning the use of foreign workers. Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo, welcomed the Labour Market Regulatory Authority’s (LMRA) decision amending certain provisions of Resolution No. (76) of 2008, allowing employers to utilise foreign workers authorised to work at another establishment owned by the same employer or affiliated with the same group, or to work for another employer for a period of three months, subject to applicable legal requirements.
