Kanoo: Stability is the basis of development and enhances the attractiveness of investment and the competitiveness of the economy
Chairman of Bahrain Chamber Nabeel Kanoo affirmed that the legal measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain in response to current challenges reflect its continued commitment to safeguarding security and stability and protecting its national achievements, in accordance with the Constitution and the law and in line with regional developments.
He noted that the Kingdom’s security and stability form the foundation of sustainable economic development, as a stable and trusted environment supports business growth, attracts investment and strengthens the competitiveness of the national economy. He added that the measures undertaken by the relevant authorities fall within the State’s legal and sovereign framework and reflect Bahrain’s commitment to the rule of law and institutions, while maintaining a balance between rights and responsibilities.
Kanoo stressed that the current circumstances require collective awareness of the importance of protecting national achievements and promoting a sense of responsibility and belonging, while commending the efforts of the relevant authorities in maintaining security and public order and contributing to a safe and stable environment that supports continued economic activity.
He affirmed that Bahrain’s private sector stands firmly in support of the nation and of all efforts aimed at strengthening its stability and progress, emphasising the importance of national partnership in advancing comprehensive development.
He added that the current period calls for greater coordination among all stakeholders to strengthen the national economy’s ability to adapt to changing circumstances and sustain economic growth.
Kanoo concluded by affirming that, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and with the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain continues to advance steadily in strengthening the rule of law and institutions and pursuing its development journey in line with the aspirations of the nation and its citizens.
