Bahrain Chamber receives Deputy Head of the Argentine Economic Mission, probes opportunities in the education, financial technology, and food sectors

Second Vice Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Abdul Jabbar Al-Kooheji, received on Monday 19th May 2025 at the Chamber’s premises, the Riyadh-based Deputy Head of Mission for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of the Argentine Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hernan Batinic.

The meeting discussed the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries and increasing the volume of trade exchange was emphasized, reflecting the great potential of the markets on both sides.


The two sides also discussed promising opportunities for cooperation in the education, financial technology (fintech), and food industries sectors, which would enhance areas of joint investment and open new horizons for Bahraini and Argentine businessmen.


In this context, Al-Kooheji emphasized the Bahrain Chamber's keenness to support everything that contributes to strengthening economic cooperation with international partners. He noted that Argentina is an important market with significant export potential, and that there is a serious desire among businessmen in the Kingdom to explore partnership opportunities with their counterparts in South America, particularly in value-added sectors.


For his part, Mr. Batinic expressed his country's interest in expanding cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirming the Argentine side's readiness to provide all possible facilities to strengthen economic and trade partnerships and encourage trade and investment exchange between the two countries.
