Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo, welcomed the issuance of Decision No. (36) of 2026 concerning the determination of commercial activities restricted to Bahraini nationals, affirming that the decision opens new opportunities for citizens and entrepreneurs to enter a number of commercial activities. This will enhance the participation of Bahrainis in economic activity and support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Kanoo called on entrepreneurs and Bahraini nationals with skills and expertise to take advantage of the opportunities created by the decision and transform their expertise and products into viable commercial ventures with potential for growth and expansion. He noted that regulating these activities provides greater scope for national initiatives to transition into structured commercial enterprises.
