Decisions of the Fifth Executive Committee Meeting – 26 July 2026

- Finalized the concluding steps for the reconstitution of the sectoral committees, in preparation for approving their new composition through an evaluation and selection process designed to attract qualified professionals and experts capable of effectively representing the various economic sectors.

- Reviewed proposals to enhance the commercial dispute resolution framework and its fee structure, with the aim of increasing Chamber members' access to dispute resolution services, particularly for low-value commercial claims.

- Followed up on the establishment of joint committees with government entities to strengthen direct coordination on priority issues and matters affecting the private sector.

- Reviewed the outcomes of the first session of the “Tojjar Talk” series, held with the participation of the Minister of Tourism, and agreed to follow up on the recommendations and proposals submitted by the tourism and hospitality sector with the relevant authorities.

- Reviewed the outcomes of the field visit to Manama Souq and agreed to work with the relevant authorities to address the observations and requirements raised by traders and translate them into practical actions.

- Reviewed the performance of the “Tojjar Voice” platform and discussed ways to further strengthen its role in receiving and following up on feedback and proposals from the business community with the relevant authorities until tangible outcomes are achieved.

- Reinforced support programs for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by directing initiatives toward achieving practical and measurable results, while expanding coordination with relevant associations and supporting organizations.

- Strengthened the Chamber's international engagement through active participation in regional and international economic forums, with the aim of advancing the interests of the private sector and creating broader opportunities for communication, cooperation, and strategic partnerships.
