During the meeting, the Minister of Industry and Commerce welcomed the Chairman and members of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s newly constituted Board of Directors, affirming the Ministry’s commitment to continuing the fruitful institutional cooperation between the two sides, which reflects the depth of the strategic partnership between the public and private sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Excellency emphasized that the Joint Economic Committee represents a key framework for strengthening coordination and integration between the government and private sectors, contributing to the support of the commercial sector, the development of the business environment, and the achievement of Bahrain’s development objectives under the prosperous reign of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Excellency noted that the integration of roles between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry contributes to translating national economic priorities into practical initiatives and tangible outcomes that enhance the competitiveness of the national economy and consolidate the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position as an attractive regional hub for investment and business.
