Second Vice Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Participates in 7th Bahrain-Korea Business Forum, Highlights 15% Increase in Trade Exchange

The Second Vice Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Mohammed Abduljabbar Al Kooheji, participated in the 7th Bahrain-Korea Business Forum held at the Radisson Blu Hotel. The event was attended by H.E. Dr. Koo Heonsang, the Korean Ambassador to Bahrain, along with various officials and business leaders from both Bahrain and Korea.

In his address at the forum, Al Kooheji praised the longstanding bilateral relationship between Bahrain and Korea, which has flourished over the past five decades, built on a foundation of respect, friendship, and mutual understanding. He highlighted that the trade volume between the two countries exceeded $458.7 million in 2024, marking an impressive 15% increase from the previous year.


Al Kooheji emphasized the significant opportunities in key sectors such as life sciences and healthcare, tourism, education, financial services, and automobiles, urging businesses to explore these promising avenues for collaboration.


He also commended the successful outcomes of previous editions of the forum, noting its continuity as a testament to the commitment of the Bahraini and Korean business communities to strengthen their commercial ties and build upon existing successes.
