The forum aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between Bahrain and Serbia in various fields, particularly economic, investment, and military aspects, with participation from Bahraini and Serbian officials and businesspeople.
It discussed enhancing economic cooperation through trade, investment links, and knowledge exchange, highlighting investment opportunities in Bahrain across sectors such as industry, technology, tourism, and logistics.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Sameer Nass, emphasized that Serbia is an important partner in Bahrain’s international economic partnerships. He noted that the visit represents a significant step towards enhancing cooperation for sustainable development between the two countries.
He highlighted the strong relations between Bahrain and Serbia and the mutual desire to foster these ties. He pointed out future cooperation opportunities, particularly in logistics, education, and healthcare.
For his part, Vice President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Mihajlovic, welcomed the Bahraini delegation and discussed Serbia's competitive advantages, including attracting foreign investments and its favorable business environment.
Bahrain Chamber’s Executive Bureau member, Bassem Al-Saei, highlighted Bahrain's strategic advantages, including lower business establishment costs compared to neighboring countries and advanced infrastructure. He also noted Bahrain’s role in the aluminum sector and its potential for growth in food and technology industries.
