The Bahrain Chamber in cooperation with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) organized on Thursday 16th March 2023 in Mumbai a Bahrain-India Business Forum, which witnessed wide participation from business owners, investors and officials from both sides.

Bahrain Chamber’s Second vice-Chairman Mohammed Al-Kooheji, stressed the need to develop legislation and laws supportive of accelerating the adoption of renewable energy and provide incentives to encourage the private sector to invest and start projects in renewable and clean energy. He underlined promising opportunities in this sector, particularly in light of the capabilities the Kingdom of Bahrain enjoys and its energy goals in line with the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change COP 26. This came on the sidelines of the participation of the Bahrain Chamber’s delegation in the Partnership Summit 2023 themed "Partnerships for Responsible, Accelerated, Innovative, Sustainable and Equitable Business" organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in New Delhi, amidst wide participation of ministers, officials and business owners from India and the world.
