Enhancing economic cooperation between countries in the Arab and African region, as well as fostering liaison between entrepreneurs from both sides were the focal points of a keynote delivered by Chairman of the Union of Arab Chambers, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Mr Sameer Nass during the opening of the Entrepreneurs Investment Summit 2023 held in Abu Dhabi, on the sidelines of the 12th Annual Investment Meeting (AIM).
Business and trade between Bahrain and Italy continue their growth trajectory, as Bahrain export to Italy was up 124% Year over Year, and the volume of trade between both countries recorded a 28% increase in 2022. This was highlighted during a meeting between the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Sameer Nass and Italian Ambassador to Bahrain Paola Amadei, held at the Bahrain Chamber’s headquarters on Tuesday 2nd May 2023.
Knowledge transfer and encouraging investments in tourism, education and renewable energy was the gist of a meeting held at the Bahrain Chamber on Tuesday 18th April 2023 between Chairman Sameer Nass and Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Ni Ruchi, in the presence of Bureau Member Bassim Al Saie, board members Yousuf Salahuddin and Abdulwahab Al Hawaj, and CEO Dr Abdulla Al Sada.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sameer Nass reviewed with the Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdulla Fakhro and the Minister of Tourism Fatima Al Sairafi a set of issues of interest to business owners and initiatives to enhance economic development during the coming period. This came during a joint meeting held at the chamber’s premises on Sunday 2nd April 2023.

The Bahrain Chamber in cooperation with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) organized on Thursday 16th March 2023 in Mumbai a Bahrain-India Business Forum, which witnessed wide participation from business owners, investors and officials from both sides.
