Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Sameer Nass received at his office at the Chamber’s premises on Tuesday 9th January 2024 board members of the International Chamber of Commerce-Bahrain (ICC) presided over by Rashid Abdulrahman.
In recognition of his impactful efforts and his notable contribution to promoting corporate social responsibility and ensuring their sustainability, Chairman of the Union of Arab Chambers, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Sameer Nass was awarded “The Arab Personalities Award for the Most Influential Figures in the field of corporate social responsibility” for the year 2023 in the honorary category by the Regional Network for Corporate Social Responsibility.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Chairman of the Union of Arab Chambers Sameer Nass affirmed that establishing a Foreign Exchange Clearing Company will contribute to invigorating the market of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states and enhance its status as a resilient market capable of withstanding and overcoming global market challenges. This came as Nass headed Bahrain’s delegation participating in the 63rd meeting of the Board of Directors of the Federation of GCC Commerce (FGCCC) held in Doha-Qatar.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Sameer Nass received a delegation from Huawei Technologies-Bahrain on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at his office in the Chamber’s premises. The delegation was presided over by Chief Executive Officer of Huawei Technologies-Bahrain Mr. Aziz Tang, who was accompanied by Key Account Director Mr Dongnan 'Jacky' Shao and Managing Director Li Haiyun.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Sameer Nass expressed pride in the longstanding relationship between Bahrain and Pakistan, emphasizing the strong collaboration in various fields, particularly trade and economic cooperation. This came as he received the Pakistani ambassador to Bahrain Saqib Rauf, on Monday, December 11th 2023 at the Chamber's premises.
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Export Bahrain, organized a series of seminars aimed at raising awareness on export laws and regulations, licensing, requirements, and cargo and logistics services pertaining to the food and beverages sector.
