The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) recently hosted a delegation from the Principality of Monaco, led by Frédéric Genta, Secretary of Attractiveness, Development and Digital at the Government of Monaco, as part of a line up meetings scheduled during the delegation’s two-day visit organised by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB).
First vice-chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Khalid Najibi received on Wednesday 24th April 2024 at the Chamber’s headquarters HSBC’s Chief Economist for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, Central and Easter Europe Simon Williams, who was accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer Joseph Ghorayeb and Head of Markets and Securities Services Batool Al Rahma.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Sameer Nass received on Monday 22nd April 2024 at the Chamber’s headquarters the Kuwait-based ambassador of Lesotho accredited to Bahrain Boomo Frank Sofonia. During the meeting, Nass provided a brief about the Bahrain Chamber, its mandate and role in shaping the economic scene in Bahrain in partnership with the government through its legislative and executive branches. He expressed keenness on building business relations with Lesotho and welcomed receiving a business delegation from Lesotho to probe business and partnership opportunities.
On the sidelines of hosting a high-level business delegation from Hong Kong, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in a ceremony held at the Chamber’s premises on Monday 22nd April 2024.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sameer Nass, expressed Bahrain's commitment to enhancing trade and commercial ties with Hong Kong, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the economic partnership and supporting business projects and investments between the private sectors of both countries to foster growth, prosperity, and sustainable development while advancing the mutual interests of both sides.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Bahrain Chamber launched on Tuesday 26h March 2024, the first edition of “The Commercial Diplomacy Forum,” which witnessed the participation of 30 diplomats, including ambassadors from the Kingdom of Bahrain and senior diplomats.
