This came during his reception of His Excellency Mr. Md. Rais Hasan Sarower, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Bahrain, where Mr. Nass stressed the Chamber’s and the Bahraini private sector’s commitment to elevating the level of bilateral relations by activating the role of the private sector in both countries, developing joint investments, and building sustainable economic partnerships. He noted that trade between Bahrain and Bangladesh exceeded USD 38 million in 2024, reflecting growing economic ties, and highlighted promising investment opportunities in transport, tourism, healthcare, renewable energy, and textiles, opening wider prospects for bilateral cooperation and joint projects.
For his part, His Excellency Ambassador Md. Rais Hasan Sarower expressed his country’s pride in the strong bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirming Bangladesh’s aspiration to exchange expertise and strengthen economic cooperation. He also confirmed the Embassy’s readiness to increase its efforts in coordination with the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in a manner that contributes to stimulating partnerships between businessmen and activating trade and investment exchange between the two countries.
