Bahrain Chamber prioritizes development of advanced and sustainable national industry

The First Deputy Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Khalid Mohammed Najibi affirmed that achieving a developed and sustainable national industry is a top priority for the Chamber, as it seeks to integrate with the government to fulfill this objective within the framework of the economic recovery plan and the goals of Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030. Najibi highlighted that Bahrain’s industrial sector is capable of fostering growth, creating employment opportunities, and increasing export levels, thereby enhancing the citizens' standard of living.  

Speaking at the Joint Economic Committee meeting held recently at the Chamber's headquarters, which was co-chaired by the Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro and Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Samir Nass, Najibi emphasized that ensuring food security is an absolute priority for the Chamber and forms an integral part of its objectives and programs for the 30th term. He added that the Chamber is committed to achieving this through parallel tracks that ensure safe levels of food security, including the promotion of the food industries, the development of agricultural policies, and supply chains. Najibi stressed the importance of continuous coordination and integration between the public and private sectors to meet the ongoing needs of the local market and confront future circumstances and challenges.
