Speaking at the meeting Mr Nass acknowledged the significant role played by Huawei in Bahrain's digital transformation and technological advancement, praising the company’s global ranking, as well as its keenness on fostering innovation and creativity.
For his part Mr. Aziz Tang hailed the competitive and business-friendly environment in Bahrain, commending Bahrain’s advancement and development pace. He deliberated about Huawei's ongoing and upcoming projects in Bahrain and the broader region, as well as its diverse portfolio and business model. He highlighted Huawei's remarkable achievements in industrial research and development investment, as the company ranked fourth globally in Q1, 2023. In addition to its fifth position in the global cloud services market.
Present at the meeting were also Bahrain Chamber’s Second Vice-Chairman Mohammed Al Kooheji, Vice-treasurer Waleed Kanoo, and Head of the Technology and Digital Economy Committee Alharith Alatawi.
