During the official visit of His Royal Highness Crown Prince, Prime Minister to Malaysia, an MOU signed between Bahrain Chamber, its Malaysian counterpart

In the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and as part of his official visit to Malaysia, a memorandum of understanding was signed regarding cooperation between the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry.


In the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and as part of his official visit to Malaysia, a memorandum of understanding was signed regarding cooperation between the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain by His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, while it was signed on the Malaysian side by member of the general committee of the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The agreement aims to enhance cooperation between the business communities of both countries, exchange information on investment opportunities, and develop relations in the fields of trade, industry, energy, logistics services, and the digital economy, as well as facilitate visits between delegations and organize joint economic events.

His Excellency Mr. Samir Abdullah Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized that the signing of this memorandum reflects the Chamber's efforts to expand its international network and enhance openness to Asian markets through strategic partnerships. He pointed out that Malaysia represents an important economic partner in the Asian continent, and that the agreement strengthens the Chamber's efforts to develop bilateral trade and create a stimulating environment for joint investment.

This step reaffirms the Bahrain Chamber's commitment to enhancing its developmental role and supporting the national economy through strategic partnerships with chambers of commerce and industry in friendly countries, contributing to broader opportunities for businesspeople and investors from both sides.
