Bahraini woman, key partner in development, with membership in Bahrain Chamber reaching 42.5%

Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sameer Nass, extended congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King, and President of the Supreme Council for Women, on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme Council for Women.

Nass affirmed that the establishment of the Supreme Council for Women was a reflection of the royal vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in making Bahraini women a fundamental partner in the journey of sustainable development. He praised the significant role played by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka in leading this national institution since its inception.

Nass stated that over the past twenty-four years, the Supreme Council for Women has achieved qualitative accomplishments that have enhanced the status of Bahraini women at local, regional, and international levels. Today, they occupy leadership positions in various sectors and actively contribute to driving the national economy.

He added that the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry takes pride in its strategic partnership with the Supreme Council for Women, in light of the initiatives and quality projects aimed at supporting Bahraini women's competencies and empowering them in the labor market. He emphasized that the private sector is a key partner in translating this ambitious vision into reality.

He clarified that the percentage of women's membership in the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry has reached 42.5% of total memberships, a significant figure that reflects the extent of women's contributions to commercial and investment activities within the kingdom.
