Bahrain Chamber’s Chairman: Support of HH SH Nasser bin Hamad contributed to success of “Experience It”

The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry concluded the fourth edition of its pioneering program "Experience it," which is part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives. This year, 33 students aged 15 to 18 participated in hands-on training experiences across 15 private sector companies.

The participating companies spanned various vital sectors, including: BAPCO, Aluminium Bahrain (ALBA),  Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard (ASRY), Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, Ithmaar Bank, Gulf Air Group, Bahrain Airport Services, Kalam Telecom, First Motors, Bahrain Bourse, Nass Holdings,  Parcel , Right Calories,Unipal, and Nuun Official.

 

The fourth edition was organized in partnership with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Nasser Centre for Science and Technology, and Hope Talents, which provided a comprehensive environment to support students in acquiring practical and technical skills while connecting them with vocational training opportunities aligned with labor market needs.

 

On this occasion, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sameer Nass,  emphasized that "Experience it" is one of the chamber's key initiatives aimed at empowering Bahraini youth. He noted that the program is not just a training opportunity but a pioneering experience reflecting the chamber's commitment to equipping young generations with practical expertise for entering the job market.

 

He mentioned that the program is inspired by the vision of the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who highlighted the priority of youth empowerment at the Youth Summit 2020. The chamber launched the program in response to His Highness's vision, aiming to provide youth with the opportunity to prove themselves in the job market and enhance their role in national development.

 

Nass praised the significant role of participating companies and the positive outcomes achieved this year through collaborative efforts between the chamber and its partners, highlighting that the provision of practical training opportunities by 15 private sector entities reflects a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and belief in investing in youth as the true wealth and future cornerstone of the nation.
