During the meeting, both sides expressed their satisfaction with the growing trade ties between Bahrain and South Korea, noting a 15% increase in trade volume, which now exceeds 459 Million USD. The meeting underscored the importance of the continued exchange of business delegations to further boost trade and investment opportunities. Both parties also emphasized the need to enhance cooperation across various sectors, especially education, given Korea’s globally recognized educational system.
In addition, the meeting highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation in the industrial, commercial, and investment sectors, reflecting the mutual interest in taking bilateral relations to broader levels that serve both nations’ shared goals.
The Chamber highlighted Bahrain’s welcoming investment environment and the promising opportunities available for Korean companies to establish and expand their businesses in the Kingdom. Additionally, the meeting addressed the potential for joint ventures between Bahraini and Korean companies to bridge existing market gaps and drive mutual growth.
