Bahrain Chamber probes opportunities with Kazakhstan

The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted on Thursday (2nd February 2023) a high-level delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan spearheaded by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mukhtar Tleuberdi accompanied by the Riyadh-based Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Bahrain H.E Berik Aryn and top officials from the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

Speaking at the meeting Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Mr Sameer Nass welcomed the delegation, and expressed the keenness of the private sector on enhancing trade and business between Bahrain and Kazakhstan.  He underlined the importance of identifying opportunities and fostering liaison to enhance business cooperation.  He also touched upon logistical challenges curbing the level of bilateral trade between both countries, while voicing keenness on probing means to overcome such obstacle to streamline business and foster bilateral trade.

For his part the Deputy Premier and Foreign Affairs Minister HE Mukhtar Tleuberdi described Bahrain as a reliable partner to his country, and expressed pride in the growing relations between both sides at all levels.  He spoke about opportunities in tourism and education, and the financial sector, and underlined the importance of joining efforts to step-up business and economic cooperation.

Attending the meeting were also board members of the Bahrain Chamber and Chief Executive Officer Dr Abdulla Al Sada.
