Najibi emphasized that the meeting of GCC chamber leaders reflects the continued commitment to economic and commercial collaboration within the GCC, contributing to a stronger and more unified Gulf economy in line with the visions of GCC leaders. He affirmed that sustained cooperation among member states will positively impact regional growth and prosperity.
He further noted that the Bahrain Chamber prioritizes fostering effective partnerships between the Bahraini private sector and its counterparts across the GCC, viewing these collaborations as essential for sustainable growth and expansion. The Chamber seeks to expand engagement with federations and chambers across the region, focusing on initiatives that enhance economic integration, remove obstacles to intra-GCC trade, and strengthen the competitiveness of the Gulf private sector in global markets.
Najibi outlined that the Board reviewed several key topics, including the Federation’s 2026 event plans, the proposed budget for the year, and the launch of the Federation’s new General Secretariat logo, reflecting its forward-looking vision and reinforced role in supporting the Gulf economy. Discussions also included a new framework for a unified Gulf guarantee system and strategies to further enhance trade and economic cooperation among GCC countries.
He concluded by noting that GCC states are rapidly diversifying their economies, enhancing food security, and developing citizens’ skills for the digital and knowledge economy, all part of a unified vision for a more integrated and prosperous region.
