He noted that this focus contributes to enhancing services, improving institutional performance, and keeping pace with rapid technological advancements. He described this achievement as a crucial step in the Chamber's digital transformation strategy, reinforcing its position as a leader in adopting technical solutions and implementing global best practices in information governance and security.
He also stressed the importance of fostering a digital culture across various aspects of local market trade, highlighting that cybersecurity has become a pivotal element in data protection and business continuity. This necessitates its prominence in institutional development plans.
CEO of the Bahrain Chamber, Atef Al Khaja, also expressed his pride in this achievement, stating that the Chamber's first-place finish in the National Cybersecurity Exercise is a culmination of extensive efforts to build an advanced digital infrastructure and enhance the technical team's capabilities.
Marking this accomplishment, the Bahrain Chamber extended its deepest gratitude to Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, as well as Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, CEO of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), stressing that organizing such quality exercises contribute to developing national capabilities and enhancing readiness to face electronic threats, ultimately serving the Kingdom of Bahrain and safeguarding its economic security.
