The session featured an open discussion on the latest developments in the Kingdom’s education sector, guided by strategic visions aligned with national development plans under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Kanoo expressed his pride in the Committee’s efforts and its role in enabling private schools to contribute effectively to shaping the future of education, emphasizing the wider impact on all sectors, including the economy. He highlighted the Chamber’s commitment to fostering cooperation between private schools and the Ministry of Education to upgrade the educational process and provide an advanced learning environment that meets students’ needs and keeps pace with global developments.
He noted that in line with the Chamber’s 30th session program, emphasis is placed on building infrastructure that responds to rapid future changes, particularly technological infrastructure, and the implementation of a comprehensive national strategy for artificial intelligence. Strengthening ties with private schools, he said, is essential to integrating these transformations into the educational system, thereby raising quality standards and preparing future generations with a clear vision and sense of responsibility toward their nation.
Kanoo further stressed that bringing together all stakeholders in such meetings lays the foundation for joint initiatives and targeted educational solutions. This collaborative approach enhances the system’s ability to prepare students with the skills needed for the labor market, ensuring the graduation of capable, innovative individuals ready to thrive in an evolving work environment. He underlined that public-private cooperation is a vital step toward building a flexible and forward-looking education system.
Committee Chairman Prof. Yousef Abdul Ghaffar Al-Abbasi welcomed participants and reaffirmed that the annual meeting serves as a platform for open communication with private schools. He stressed the importance of hearing their perspectives, concerns, and proposals, assuring that all inputs will be considered to strengthen the Kingdom’s educational environment.
