Bahrain Chamber commended the continued guidance of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, in supporting youth and investing in their capabilities. The Chamber noted that His Highness’s directives to expand the program and provide opportunities for more students reflect his commitment to preparing young people for the future and enhancing their contribution to national development.
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nabeel Kanoo affirmed that these directives encourage the Chamber to build on the program’s achievements, expand its reach, and further develop initiatives aimed at empowering Bahraini youth. He praised His Highness’s focus on developing young people’s capabilities, enhancing their skills, and preparing them for active participation in the Kingdom’s development journey.
Kanoo said the “Experience It” program reflects Bahrain Chamber’s commitment to supporting and empowering youth by providing practical opportunities that strengthen their skills, experience, and confidence. It also gives students early exposure to different professions, sectors, and workplace requirements.
He highlighted the program’s expansion in its fifth edition, noting that early professional experience plays an important role in enhancing students’ readiness for the future and developing national competencies capable of meeting the evolving needs of the labour market.
He added that the private sector is a key partner in this effort through providing training and professional opportunities and sharing practical expertise, helping prepare a generation capable of contributing to the national economy.
Kanoo affirmed that Bahrain Chamber will continue developing the “Experience It” program and strengthening partnerships with private sector institutions and supporting entities to provide more high-quality opportunities for Bahraini youth and promote a culture of work and professional development.
Participation in the program grew significantly, from 24 students in 2024 to 60 in 2026, reflecting its continued expansion and increasing reach among Bahraini youth.
Participating and supporting companies and institutions expressed their appreciation for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation with Bahrain Chamber in delivering programs that develop youth skills and prepare them for the labour market in line with private sector needs and requirements.
